This cute little guy is part of the reason for the name of this blog. In my case, though, being a grandmother is more than a name, it is a state of mind. When I was in fourth grade studying Nebraska history and pioneers and such, one of the girls sat in a rocking chair knitting and the kids called her "gramma" for years, as is often the case in small schools. I didn't. I did my best in the coming years to be like her. I like old fashioned things and old fashioned ways of doing things. I believe less is more and making do with what you have, to the annoyance of my family and likely my friends. For example, what I did on my last "free-er" day, was to repair a ripped flannel fitted sheet by inserting the top sheet, all nicely sewn, of course. Help Yourself

YAY!! You did It! I'm so proud of you! :)
hmmm, about the picture at the top, you could crop the picture down, or re-size it & then try again? The only other thing I can think of is did you click the "size to fit" button when you downloaded it on there?
p.s....may I add you to my list?
I love it!!!! :))))
When you want to post a link like I did on my last one, highlight the word you want, then click on the "link" button--little green thingy with chain on the top bar of your post, copy and paste the link from whatever (in this case the address of Raimie's blog) and there you have it. Just make sure that you don't double the "http://" part!
